Just wanted to give some people and update, let everyone know whats going on. Things been quiet over here as of late, been that way for some time now. Aion was a failure, some people still dabbling but all in all pretty dead. I dont think many of us imagined it would work out, Korean style grind games are surely not anything we ordered. EVE however is alive and doing fine. We have a decent presence and are holding our own doing the High Sec Corporation War Dec thing at the moment, though we have no discounted moving into other things such as Pking or joining a larger alliance or Corp for more combat options. The game can really fit play styles, especially if you dont have alot of time. So, looks like EVE is here for us, atleast until The Old Republic, which is probably over a year away. I guess I would complaining if it wasnt for EVE. We’ll see how TOR pans out, but right now the bunch of us in EVE are pretty happy.
Spring slowly moving on.

We have selected Triniel as our server, playing as Asmodion’s. While we have not “officially” jumped into the game with a majority of our players a good bit of us are going to give it a go. With the past failures of various releases, WAR, Conan and Darkfail, most people are reluctant or hesitant to try anything. While Aion is indeed another Realm vs. Realm carebear game, it might have enough PvP to keep people happy. Unfortunately, people will still be annoying and still be safe. Oh, how I miss FFA. As usual, anyone who gamed with us in the past who wants to give it a try, find us in game, and give us a shout.
EVE, is another entity in its own. While plenty of us were trying different games hoping for something similar to Mordred, Siege Perilous or Darktide, all we were given was the childs play pen. Luckily, Ruiner stuck it out with EVE, a true sandbox, and revealed to us FFA was still around. While the game takes some adjustments and is not so pretty as other games, it is brutal. Our latest battle errupted outside of the Esescama station, in Amarr space. A recent enemy corporation fled to deeper space only to return for vengeance with a huge zerg. After a night of station camping our fleets met, and they were promptly crushed. The results? 19 enemy ships floating in space, while we only lost one. Space has been good to us, to say the least.
12 Possible Classes

Ever since Bioware announced the development of Star Wars The Old Republic there have been many questions and speculations about what type of classes would be included. Bioware has since released information introducing 3 of the 8 classes. One interesting thing to note is that Bioware lists the Jedi Order and the Sith Lords as separate factions or allegiances in regards to the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire. Perhaps this debunks the assumption that 2 of the 8 class types would be filled by force-sensitive classes.
Michael Bitton of MMORPG.com released a feature that showcases some ideas behind what type of classes may fill in the holonet gaps. Some of his ideas are pretty interesting. What classes do you think Bioware will end up choosing?
Editor’s Note: This article presents 12 ideas for classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic, which still has three unannounced classes. The article is the opinion of the author and is not the actual list Bioware will use.

As a huge fan of game related videos of all kinds, I was absolutely shocked to come across this fan-made film. This is by far one of the most professional and well put together films I’ve seen for any game. Simply chilling presentation and editing.

So, it comes down to this. Nothing exciting on the horizon at all. Darkfall’s wretched existence is still a blight upon our lives, and we will be stuck with mindless Warcraft type grinds forever. Or, so you would think. BIOWARE, is here to save the day. If you game, you probably have some time vested into one of the many fabulous titles they created. Yes, I am a fanboy. They rock, period. Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, Jade Empire and Knights of the Old Republic, all huge successes. Now, they continue the Star Wars saga with The Old Republic, BIOWARE’s first MMO. What is it? Well, take a look for yourself.

Well, Darkfall did not pan out the way we hoped or expected. What we wanted was a FFA game, what we feared was a buggy unstable exploit ridden game. Well, we got both. Eventually one hopes someone can do it right, and although Darkfall may be what some people were looking for, it certainly was not for me. Things certainly look grim, but for now atleast a few of us are keeping ourselves busy by giving EVE another shot. Maybe Darkfall gets there shit together, maybe not, only time will tell.
