12 Possible Classes
Ever since Bioware announced the development of Star Wars The Old Republic there have been many questions and speculations about what type of classes would be included. Bioware has since released information introducing 3 of the 8 classes. One interesting thing to note is that Bioware lists the Jedi Order and the Sith Lords as separate factions or allegiances in regards to the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire. Perhaps this debunks the assumption that 2 of the 8 class types would be filled by force-sensitive classes.
Michael Bitton of MMORPG.com released a feature that showcases some ideas behind what type of classes may fill in the holonet gaps. Some of his ideas are pretty interesting. What classes do you think Bioware will end up choosing?
Editor’s Note: This article presents 12 ideas for classes in Star Wars: The Old Republic, which still has three unannounced classes. The article is the opinion of the author and is not the actual list Bioware will use.
As a huge fan of game related videos of all kinds, I was absolutely shocked to come across this fan-made film. This is by far one of the most professional and well put together films I’ve seen for any game. Simply chilling presentation and editing.

So, it comes down to this. Nothing exciting on the horizon at all. Darkfall’s wretched existence is still a blight upon our lives, and we will be stuck with mindless Warcraft type grinds forever. Or, so you would think. BIOWARE, is here to save the day. If you game, you probably have some time vested into one of the many fabulous titles they created. Yes, I am a fanboy. They rock, period. Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, Jade Empire and Knights of the Old Republic, all huge successes. Now, they continue the Star Wars saga with The Old Republic, BIOWARE’s first MMO. What is it? Well, take a look for yourself.

Well, Darkfall did not pan out the way we hoped or expected. What we wanted was a FFA game, what we feared was a buggy unstable exploit ridden game. Well, we got both. Eventually one hopes someone can do it right, and although Darkfall may be what some people were looking for, it certainly was not for me. Things certainly look grim, but for now atleast a few of us are keeping ourselves busy by giving EVE another shot. Maybe Darkfall gets there shit together, maybe not, only time will tell.
Well, finally got a subscription to Darkfall thanks to Zevlyk. Gotta say its definetly entertaining but at the same time very difficult. Learning curve has been brutal with eight of us, and there is some wild stuff going on that needs to be addressed but all in all, decent game. Character development thusfar has been slow, crafting seems to be very important, and figuring out what works and what dont, as far as build, has been fun. I wont make it an official game just yet, but, if anyone is interested in giving it a shot just hop in, do a guild search and throw an application this way, and we’ll set you up.
Once again, we seem to be stuck in that rut yet again. WAR turned out to be nothing that we expected from Mythic, contrary to what we thought might happen. A poorly supported game, no balance issue’s addressed or resolved, mostly everyone has snuck off into hiding. Now what? Where do we turn our attention? Darkfall? Knights of the Old Republic? The future is looking even more grim for PVPers, especially those who are as devoted to FFA as we. Hope, thats all we can do. Maybe, just maybe Darkfall proves not to be Darkfail.
For those that don’t already know, Dark Covenant has transferred from Chaos Wastes to Dark Crag. We have been enjoying the larger population and the overall increase in PvP activity. There are a lot of familiar faces from previous games just as there are a lot of new ones. Hopefully the PvP continues to grow as the game progresses. See you all on the field.
